Sometimes when I look at images – It sparks an idea. Most I let pass by without much thought others seem to stick and need further investigation. About 2 years ago I was shown an image about like this one.
I thought it was neat and moved on with other projects at hand. Well… Now 2 years later I thought back about this image and thought I could make a video using the same idea…. I wondered how I could do that. So I researched the concept for doing it in photoshop and applied the concept to a clip inside After Effects. While it may look complicated its really not – the toughest part is making it have a seamless edge, which I haven’t quite got figured out yet. So I doubled the shot and flipped it vertically to to allow edges to match on either side and it turned out ok.
